2.Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP): Offering to AGYW who are at high risk of contracting HIV.
Establishing “safe spaces” where AGYW can access SRH services in a non-judgmental and supportive environment. These spaces also offer information and support on issues like gender-based violence (GBV).
Supports AGYW in acquiring vocational skills and education that enhance their employability and economic independence. Training programs include tailoring, hairdressing.
Training programs focus on building resilience, self-esteem, and decision-making skills among AGYW, helping them to avoid risky behaviors and make healthier choices.
7.School-Based Interventions:
In collaboration with schools, DREAMS implements programs that focus on keeping girls in school, preventing early pregnancies, and reducing school dropouts, which are key risk factors for HIV.
