Our Story
Hands of Charity Uganda (HOC)
Hands of Charity Uganda (HOC), is a Christian Not for Profit Organization committed to support vulnerable communities in areas of Uganda.
Our Vision
To empower vulnerable communities with health, social and economic strengthening.
Our Mission
To improve on the health, economic stability and safety among vulnerable people.
Hands of Charity implemented OVC (Orphans and vulnerable children) and Key population and Priority Population programs in Kayunga for the last 3 years in partnership with Makerere Walter Reed Project (MUWRP) designed by the Ministry of Health
Hands of Charity is implementing prevention programs of Determined Resilience Empowered AIDs free Mentored and Safe (DREAMS) to support the control of HIV/AIDS in the beneficiary communities amongst Adolescent girls and young women (AGYWs ) and Key & Priority population (KP/PP) as a cornerstone to an effective health care response in Kayunga district in Sub Counties of Bbaale, Galiraya and Kayonza.
Our Objectives
- To identify, asses, enroll and serve HIV infected and affected children and positive care givers.
- To provide preventive and comprehensive services to HIV exposed client, pregnant adolescent and child mothers.
- Curb GBV cases through CBV counseling and offering Legal support to GBV victims
